PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for fouling control of an immersion-type plate membrane module are provided to improve overall system efficiency and secure system reliability by ensuring separation of solid and liquid and continuously regulating pollutants accumulated on the membrane surface. CONSTITUTION: An immersion module has a plate membrane. Water passing through the plate membrane is discharged to an outflow pipe via a supporting member. Microbes of high concentration inhabit a bioreaction tank. A pipe-type diffuser(5) inflow air between plate membrane elements(7). Fluid media(2) flow through the plate membrane elements(7) by the air from the diffuser(5). A mesh net(4) prevents loss of the fluid media(2).
