PURPOSE: A column structure reinforcing device and a method thereof are provided to prevent the deviation of reinforcing elements out of the column structure by using reinforcing plates, filling concrete, and connection iron elements instead of fillers such as epoxy and improve the reinforcing force by forming the reinforcing plates in the shape of cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A device for reinforcing a column structure includes a first reinforcing plate(100) formed with many through holes(11) on a semicircular main body part(10) and having a coupling plate(20) mounted at both ends of the main body part and formed with many connection holes(21), a second reinforcing plate(200) having a main body part(10) and the coupling plate equally to the first reinforcing plate, and coupling elements(300) for coupling the first and second reinforcing plates together after contacting the coupling plates together to form a circular shape, wherein the first and second reinforcing plates are integrally formed with a semicircular grating wire-mesh or iron reinforcing bar assembly respectively.
