METHOD FOR COMPRESSING CARD BLACK LIST DATA AND TRANSMITTING SYSTEM THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for compressing card black list data is provided to compress the size of B/L data adapted to a card settlement system for rapidly and accurately collecting a purchasing charge of a product or service or traffic expenses. CONSTITUTION: A banking identification number(BIN) of the first six digits from a card number of 16 digits is coded. 1 byte is allocated, and then a card specific number of 9 digits from the seventh digit to the 15th digit is converted into a binary value (32 bits). The data size for one B/L card number is compressed to a size of 5 bytes by allocating 4 bytes and disposing of a check code with a number of the remaining 16th digit.
