METHOD FOR COMPRESSING CARD BLACK LIST DATA AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for compressing card black list data is provided to compress the size of B/L data adapted to a card settlement system for rapidly and accurately collecting a purchasing charge of a product or service or traffic expenses. CONSTITUTION: A series of B/L data listed in a B/L database is sorted sequentially. A banking identification number of the first six digits from a sorted B/L card number at the most edge are coded. The data size for one B/L card number is compressed to a size of 5 bytes by converting a card specific number of 9 digits from the seventh digit to the 15th digit of the card number into a binary value of 32 bits(4 bytes). When a compressed data for one B/L card number is generated, only a difference value(offset value) between the next B/L card number and the previous B/L card number is compressed.
