The invention relates to a flat floor (1) for a railway freight wagon, comprising longitudinal beams (5) along the lengthwise sides of a freight wagon, floor supports (4) therebetween comprising just a number of hat profiles (3) transverse to a freight wagon, which are fastened at ends (7) thereof to the longitudinal side beams of a freight wagon and which are downwards open.
