SYSTEM FOR TRACKING CARGO BASED ON WEB AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system for tracking cargo based on a web and an operation method thereof are provided to enable a customer to monitor information on a movement of cargo by providing general items for transportation of the cargo to the customer in real time. CONSTITUTION: A customer transmits basic information on transportation cargo to a forwarder(S10). The forwarder inputs the basic information provided from the customer and stores the information in a good basic information database(S12). The number is inputted to cargo for generating tracking information(S14). It is confirmed whether the number inputted is a number registered in the database(S16). Information on transportation places is transmitted to an airline system(S18). The airline system generates information on airplanes on the basis of the information on the transportation places(S20). The information on the airplanes generated is transmitted to a forwarder system(S22). The information stored in the database and the information on the airplanes is loaded to a transportation tracking system(S24). Basic information on tracking is generated(S26). Tracking information is inputted by transportation sections(S28). The tracking information is stored in the cargo tracking information database(S30). The tracking information is provided to the customer and a foreign partner system using an electronic mail(S32,S34).
