PURPOSE: A plastic core for power supply is provided to apply a plastic core to a switching power supplying apparatus and enable shapes of a transformer and an inductor to be changeable. CONSTITUTION: A pellet is formed of metal powder of Fe-Si-ai and Olefin heat resistant resin. A ratio of the metal powder to the Olefin heat resistant resin is 90:10. An injection molding is performed with respect to the pellet by using a plastic injection molding machine. The plastic core manufactured has an advantage of drastically reducing a number of process since a conventional plastic injection molding method is used. Consequently, manufacturing costs of final products are reduced and a time for developing the products is also reduced. The magnetic powder and the insulating resin are uniformly formed and not easily saturated by a current. A height of the core can be reduced and forming can be easily performed, so that various types of cores can be easily developed.
