A loose-proof washer for fastening a bolt includes an annular body portion which comprises a plurality of inner teeth on its inner margin, wherein said inner teeth extend radially inwardly and project axially in one direction, which is designed such that when the washer is pressed to be flattened by a force, the inside diameter of the teeth is less than the outside diameter of the bolt, and the teeth are radially forced to interwedge in the thread of the bolt.
