CAD SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY GENERATING DRAWING

PURPOSE: A CAD system automatically generating a component purchase request drawing is provided to construct a database of symbols of components contained in the drawing and to generate the drawings which request purchasing of the components. CONSTITUTION: A database(2) of additional symbols is constructed in addition to a standard component symbol(1) and an assembly drawing is generated in (3). Symbols contained in the drawing are searched(4). It is checked whether the contained symbols are defined standard products(5). The standard product(5) of the checked symbol is stored as a list(7). It is checked whether the searched and stored symbol is to be selected lastly(8). If the selected symbol is the last one, files are arranged(9). A purchase request drawing(11) is generated through a standard component purchase specification database(10).
