THE SECOND HARMONIC GENERATOR

PURPOSE: The second harmonic generator is provided to generate stably the second harmonics under a variable surrounding temperature by improving a structure of the second harmonic generator. CONSTITUTION: An input mirror(110) and an output mirror(150) are used for forming a resonance block of a predetermined distance. The second harmonic generation portion has a gain medium(120), a polarization element(130), and a non-linear signal crystalline element(140) in order to obtain the second harmonic. A temperature compensator(300) is installed at a lower portion of the non-linear signal crystalline element(140). A casing(100) is used for surrounding the resonance block in order to the input mirror(110) and the second harmonic generation portion. A thermal control portion(410) is used for maintaining an interval between the input mirror(110) and the output mirror(150) by heating and absorbing heat from the casing(100). A control portion(410) is used for controlling a thermal variation of the casing(100) within a range of predetermined temperature.
