A press part (10) is urged against the packaging inside a vessel (2), pressure being applied in the direction of the vessel base (20), from which liquid is removed whilst pressure is being applied. Liquid is also sucked away from the press part. Additional liquid (e.g. water) is supplied to assist cleaning and liquid removal. An Independent claim is also included for the compaction device. |
