<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film having coating film properties such as pitching resistance and shock resistance against stone splashing on to the outer boards of an automotive body under severe conditions in cold districts, and high anticorrosion properties under severe corrosive environment attributable to snow-melting salt spraying or the like even in the case where the coating film is peeled off. SOLUTION: A cationic electrodeposition paint composition obtained by compounding a coating composition composed of (A) an amine-modified epoxy resin and (B) a blocked polyisocyanate, with (C) a cationic urethane acrylic emulsion in such a manner that the amount of the component (C) is 5-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the total of the solids in the above (A) of the amine- modified epoxy resin and the above component (B) of the blocked polyisocyanate, is provided.</p> |
