PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a recovery method of a liquid ejector for ejecting liquid stably in normal ejecting operation by making possible to remove a residual bubble through a novel liquid ejection method. SOLUTION: In the liquid ejector mounting a liquid ejection head having a valve between a liquid channel 3 and a plurality of liquid supply openings 5 communicating with a common liquid supply chamber 6, i.e., a cantilever movable member 8 disposed through a micro interval to the liquid channel 3 side of the liquid supply opening 5, the movable member 8 is displaced by heating the heater 4 to generate a bubble when an image is not recorded, and a bubble is generated during displacement of the movable member 8 toward the liquid supply opening 5. When a residual bubble is moved to the downstream side, liquid is sucked through an ejection opening thus removing a residual bubble 23. |
