PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polypropylene-based resin composition for foam molding which has a high closed cell ratio and which can yield a beautiful foamed sheet, and to prepare a foamed sheet obtained from the composition and to provide a foam-molded article obtained by heating and molding the foamed sheet. SOLUTION: The polypropylene-based resin composition for foam molding is prepared from (A) 20-99 wt.% of a polypropylene resin with a melt flow rate of 0.5 g/10 minutes or more (230 deg.C, 21.18 N) and a melt tension of 4 cN or more, which is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a propylene homopolymer or a propylene/olefin copolymer containing 50 wt.% or more of a propylene polymerization unit with 0.01-5 pts.wt. of an ethylene homopolymer or a high molecular weight polyethylene containing 50 wt.% or more of an ethylene polymerization unit with an intrinsic viscosity, [η], of 15-100 dl/g measured at 135 deg.C in tetralin with (B) 1-80 wt.% of a polypropylene resin with a melt flow rate of 0.3 g/10 minutes or more and a melt tension of 4 cN or less. The composition and a blowing agent are melt-blended and extruded into a foamed sheet, which is heated and molded into a foam-molded article.
