PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely perform a velocity measurement based on the Doppler displacement even if the angle formed by the velocity direction and a measuring wave beam is unknown. SOLUTION: A first ultrasonic beam B1 is emitted from a first opening K1 formed on an ultrasonic probe 10 in a first direction to measure a velocity V1 on the basis of the Doppler displacement, and a second ultrasonic beam b2 is emitted from a second opening K2 in a second direction having an angleθb to the first direction to measure a velocity V2 on the basis of the Doppler displacement. A true velocity Vr is determined according to Vr=V1/cos(arctan((cos(θb)-V2/V1)/sin(θb))).
