PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a porous resin film having good absorbance of water content being a solvent of a water-base ink or water-base paste, and a recoding medium capable of absorbing an ink without concentration variation in solid print even when discharge amount of the ink is large in ink jet recording. SOLUTION: This porous resin film comprises 30-90 wt.% thermoplastic resin and 70-10 wt.% inorganic and/or organic fine powder surface treated with a surface treating agent (A) comprising a copolymer prepared from a diallyl amine salt or alkyl diallyl amine salt (a1) and a nonionic hydrophilic vinyl monomer (a2), and an anionic surface treating agent (B). The liquid absorption volume of the porous resin film as measured by 'Japen TAPPI No. 51-87' is in the range of at least 0.5 ml/m2. |
