PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject grain culm carrier designed to ensure waste straw, dust, and the like, falling during grain culm carriage on inner and outer auxiliary carrying chains not to wound around a transmission belt for making a rotary drive of the above chains subject to rotary driving through inputting mechanical power from a reaper and around e.g. pulleys spanned with the transmission belt. SOLUTION: This grain culm carrier is so designed that the belt line (a) of a transmission belt 33 for making a rotary drive, from a reaper 3, of inner and outer auxiliary carrying chains 10 and 11 for the delivery carriage of grain culms from the reaper 3 is situated at a specified distance inside the inner auxiliary carrying chain 10.
