WASTE WATER DISCHARGING MEANS FOR BREEDING TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water discharging means for a breeding tank capable of effectively removing solid organic materials depositing on the bottom of the tank and floating materials floating on the surface of water therein in bubbling state. SOLUTION: This waste water discharging means is used for a breeding system utilizing breeding water 2 exhausted from the breeding tank 1 for breeding fishes and shellfishes. The means has an exhaust tube 7 erected from the bottom 18 of the tank 1, an upper scupper 6 formed on the upper end of the tube 7 under water but close to the water surface to discharge away the floating materials and breeding water 2, and a lower scupper 5 formed on the side at the bottom of the exhaust tube 7 to exhaust the breeding water including depositing material, and the opening area of the lower scupper 5 is variably set.
