<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a get-in/off aiding device having a first plate and a second plate moved up and extended, respectively, with one operation, ensuring simple and quick operation and offering wet resistance and less manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The get-in/off aiding device comprises the first plate body rotatably supported with the end opposite a line as a center, the second plate body slidably provided on the reverse of the first plate body so as to be extended from the end of the first plate body at its line side to a vehicle gateway in use, first engagement means provided on the second plate body, at least one arm rotatably supported opposite the reverse of the plate body, contacting means provided on the arm for contacting the reverse of the first plate body, second engagement means provided at the rotational center of the arm beyond the contacting means for engaging the first engagement means, and driving means for positively or reversely rotating the arm. The arm is raised to the line side in use and tilted to the opposite side to the line in readiness.</p> |
