PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending forming method of a multiply curved glass plate which can be performed only by a simple change of an equipment utilizing a major pat of the equipment of the conventional production line for singly curved glass plates. SOLUTION: The glass plate 32 is carried on harsh beds 34, 35 in a gas furnace 30, is subjected to the bending forming with a prescribed radius of curvature R2 along a direction axis vertical to the carried direction and, further, is subjected to bending forming with a radius of curvature R1 in a longitudinal direction along the curvature of upgrade of a harsh bed 36. when the glass plate arrives on the harsh bed 36 having the prescribed radius of curvature R1 along the carried direction axis. Subsequently, the glass plate 32 is cooled and strengthened by windchill through cooling blow port module groups 38A, 38B.
