PURPOSE: An inner shield for a CRT is provided to decrease the influence of geomagnetic field on an electron beam by offsetting the horizontal magnetic field and vertical magnetic field of the geomagnetic field. CONSTITUTION: The inner shield(50) comprises of a box type body(51) and a fixed part(52). The box type body(51) is mounted on a frame(12a) of a shadow mask frame assembly fixed to an inner surface of a panel, and has sidewalls(51a) surrounding the track of an electron beam irradiated from an electron gun. The fixed part(52) is formed under the body(51) to be fixed to the frame(12a). In addition, a bending part(54) is formed on one end of the body(51) of the inner shield(50) by bending the end of the body with a predetermined curvature.
