PURPOSE: A system of constituting a portable device is provided to automatically constitute the portable device on the basis of its physical position. CONSTITUTION: The system automatically constituting the portable device includes an electronic unit, which electronically determines the physical position of the portable device(204), a module which retrieves positional configuration information corresponding the determined physical position, and a module(232) which constituted the portable device based on the information included in the configuration. The electronic unit includes a telephone caller-identification system(237), or a Global Positioning Satellite(GPS) receiver.
