PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a measurement with a current of more proper magnitude to a contact impedance having a magnitude of a wide range and precisely measure a body internal impedance under the batter condition of S/N ratio to determine the body fat quantity of a subject. SOLUTION: Both legs of the subject are brought into contact with electrodes 2a, 2b and 3a, an analog switch 8a is ON to connect a constant current controlling arithmetic amplifier 6 to an arithmetic control unit 9, a current is applied between the electrodes 2a and 2b or between the electrodes 3a and 2b, and the voltage generated in each current carrying between the electrodes is measured and inputted to the control unit 9. An analog switch 8b is ON to connect a current measuring arithmetic amplifier 10 to the arithmetic control unit 9, and each current value carried between the electrodes is measurement and inputted to the control unit 9. In the control unit 9, the internal impedance Zi is calculated by use of the voltage value and current value. |
