PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a ceramic filament. SOLUTION: This cutting device for a ceramic filament (1) comprises a cutting part (2) with a plurality of cutting blades (19) arranged in such a manner that the outer periphery of the ceramic filament (1) is caught by the blades (19) from a multi-direction, a clamper (3) tightly holding the ceramic filament (1) and a guide plate (4) which is interposed between the cutting part (2) and the clamper 3 and has an arc-shaped guide hole (13) centered around the ceramic filament (1). In addition, the guide plate (4) is connected, in parallel, to the holding actuation face of the clamper (3) and the cutting part (2) is connected through the guide hole (13) of the guide plate (4). In the device of the described structure, the ceramic filament 1 held by the clamper (3) is cut by making the rotary motion of the cutting part (2) centered around the filament (1) as an axis, while the pressurizing force of a cutting blade (19) of the cutting part (2) to the filament (1) is adjusted. |
