PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound excellent in high-temperature stability and high-temperature cleanliness, and useful as an ashless detergent disperser having fine particle-dispersing activities, and further to provide a mixture thereof with a specific ester derivative, additives consisting essentially of them for a lubricant or a fuel oil, and the lubricant and the fuel oil composition containing the additives. SOLUTION: This boronized succinic imide compound is obtained by reacting (a) succinic acid substituted with an alkyl group of alkenyl group having 200-5,000 number average molecular weight, or an anhydride thereof, (b) a polyalkylene polyamine containing >=5 mol% polyalkylene polyamine having a ring structure at the terminal based on the whole, and (c) a boron compound. |
