PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue paper carton from which tissue papers can be taken out piece by piece without sticking a synthetic resin film over a take-out port thereof, whose cover can be easily opened and closed even when the tissue papers remain therein, which is capable of preventing dusts from coming into the inside thereof and can be recycled or disposed as combustible wastes. SOLUTION: The tissue paper carton comprises a top plate 22, a bottom plate 24, a pair of side plates 21, 23 on the right and left and end plates 12, 14 and 32, 34 respectively paired at the front and rear, and a break line 22L for forming a take-out port for taking out the tissue papers is provided at the top plate 22. The break line 22 L is formed, extending from one end to the other end at a side on the boundary between the top plate 22 and the end plates 32, 34 on the front. Then, a pair of holding-down parts 40, 40 are formed at the top plate on positions closer to the rear from the center, and the holding- down parts 40 are formed respectively in a pair of incisions at the front and rear, extending from the top plate 22 to each of the side plates 21, 23 on the right and left.
