<p>A needleless injection dispensing cartridge is filled through its discharge orifice with the drug to be injected by use of an adaptor. The filling means , for example a hypodermic syringe, is snapped off of the needleless injector cartridge after use, and the needle remains covered by the adaptor. The adaptor can comprise a pair of sleeves, one of which receives the cartridge and the other of which receives the end of the syringe. Alternatively, the role of the first of these sleeves can be assumed by the body of the cartrid ge itself.</p> |
