PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed correction device for welding distortion with which a high-speed correction is definitely carried out by appropriately broadening the width of a thermal source which moves along a welding zone when a welding distortion is corrected. SOLUTION: The device is constructed in a way that a heating coil 0 is movable along a welding zone on the front side of a structural member 10 so that the welding distortion of the structural member 10 serving as a surface material welded on its back to a rib member 11 is corrected, and the coil is composed of plural channel-shaped ferrite cores 3, a coil conductor 2 inserted through the opening of the ferrite core 3, and metallic cooling members 4 and 5 which hold and cool the cores 3 and the conductor 2.
