PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable stools and table which can be placed in juxtaposition, put together into a small size for a good portability and operability, improved in appearance, are user-friendly and can be used for multi-purposes. SOLUTION: The stool 1 comprises a seat section 4, a flat member 2 with a box body 5 and supporting leg sections 3 foldably connected to the back of the flat member. The leg sections 3 are stored in the space 6 of the box body 5 when not in use. When in use, the flat members 2, 2 are opened flatly with a hinge in the center, releasing the leg sections 3. A rear end 14 is laid on the flat member 2 and a human leg 13 is to be inserted into the space between the back of the flat member 2 and a lower supporting section 11 on the bottom of the leg section 3.
