PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to reduce the output amount of electromagnetic interference waves because current directions flowing in X-Y electrode lines and black lines are opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION: Conductive first and second black lines for enhancing contrast are formed to be parallel to electrode lines and are positioned between respective X and Y electrode line pairs(X1,...,Xn;Y1,...,Yn). The first black lines(...,Bxn-1,BXn) are positioned beside the X electrode lines and the second black lines(By1,...Byn) are positioned beside the Y electrode lines. Further, the X electrode lines and the first black lines are connected to each other on the opposite side to the drive signal input positions of the X electrode lines, and Y electrode lines and the second black lines are connected to each other on the opposite side to the drive signal input positions of the Y electrode lines. |
