<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shooting game device capable of accurately detecting the position of spotlight on the basis of an image pickup signal of an infrared image pickup means. SOLUTION: This game device specifies a position detecting area included in an image pickup area of the infrared image pickup means on the basis of the image pickup signal of an infrared video camera 40 for picking up the image of a display 30, and detects the position of the infrared spotlight shot toward a target displayed on the display 30, on the basis of the information of the specified position detecting area included in the image pickup area. The position detecting area 2100A is specified by displaying reference point marks M at least at four corner reference points for specifying four corners of the position detecting area on a screen, and detecting a position in the image pickup area of the spotlight obtained by projecting infrared rays to the marks.</p> |
