PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce laminated multicellular foamed glass useful as a heat insulating material for architecture or for various kinds of industries, or the like, by effectively utilizing waste glass containing a large amount of impurities generated at the time of dismantling a building or an automobile, or the like. SOLUTION: The laminated multicellular foamed glass 1 is manufactured by utilizing crushed or pulverized waste glass containing the impurities as a raw material and has laminated structure having a lower layer 2 constituted of a multicellular foamed glass layer containing relatively large impurities 5 and a surface layer 4 constituted of the multicellular foamed glass layer containing relatively small impurities or nearly no impurity.
