PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide 29-desmethylrapamycin which is one of isolated compounds produced by many microorganisms as various metabolites, and was elucidated to have useful therapeutic activities, which is made clear, is considered to be a new compound, and has useful antimycotic activities and immunosuppressant characteristics. SOLUTION: The 29-desmethylrapamycin of the compound of the formula (I) or the derivative thereof is provided. The pharmaceutical composition contains the compound.
