<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bat with high resiliency and sufficient strength for baseball or softball. SOLUTION: This bat is equipped with a ball hitting part for baseball or softball. The bal hitting part includes a low rigidity part 3, a first and second high rigidity parts 4, and a medium rigidity part 8. The high rigidity parts 4 are positioned along a circumferential direction vertical to the major axis of the bat so as to put the low rigidity part 3 between them and show a deformation load larger than that of the low rigidity part. The medium rigidity part 8 is positioned along the circumferential direction vertical to the major axis of the bat at an area farther than the first and second high rigidity parts 4 when viewing from the low rigidity part 3 and shows a deformation load smaller than that of the high rigidity parts 4. The first and second high rigidity parts 4 and the medium rigidity part 8 are placed at an area with the central angle lower than 90 deg. when viewing from the low rigidity part 3 in the cross section in the circumferential direction of the bat.</p> |
