PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a cable for connecting a sensor to a measuring instrument body which is required in a conventional electronic health monitor terminal device. SOLUTION: This data input device comprises image gaining means 109 and 111 for gaining the image of data displayed on the data display parts of measuring instruments 101-106, a figure reading means 117 for reading the figure in the gained image, and a display means for displaying the read figure. The image gaining means 109 and 111 also gain the image of the part other than the data display parts of the measuring instruments, an image confirming means 113 reads the information other than the figure for the measuring instruments from the gained image, and the read image for the measuring instrument is used for the figure reading by the figure reading means 117.
