PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase warehousing/shipping capability in an automated storage and retrieval warehouse and more particularly, to increase warehousing/shipping capability without lowering installation space efficiency. SOLUTION: In an automated storage and retrieval warehouse in which storing shelves are installed so as to face each other across a traveling passage of a stacker, at least one of the storing shelves is made a double shelf capable of performing longitudinal storing on a front side and a depth side and the stacker is provided with a double reach fork, a lower layer story of the double shelf is divided in the longitudinal direction, a buffer shelf is formed in the inside part, and a stacker for lower layer story or a traveling truck is traveled in the outside part.
