PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread fastening device capable of maintaining the axis of a shaft and the axis of a socket always coaxially with a simple structure. SOLUTION: In this thread fastening device, a transmission part 11 provided at a tip face 5a of the shaft 5 rotated by a nut runner 6 is fitted into a recessed part 12 provided at a base end face 8a of the socket 8 that can mount and hold a bolt 3, and a connecting pin 13 is inserted through a fitted part of the recessed part 12 and transmission part 11 to connect the socket 8 and the shaft 5. A coil spring 18 journalled to the shaft 5, and a washer 19 are interposed between the tip face 5a of the shaft 5 and the base end face 8a of the socket 8. The coil spring 18 presses the socket 8 in the axis direction of the shaft 5 through the washer 9.
