PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning device, being handled easily and hardly developing trouble. SOLUTION: In a domestic water cleaning device, by-passes 5, 7 interposing water purifiers 4, 6 therein respectively are attached to water pipes 1, 2, and the by-passes 5, 7 are respectively attached with a pressure sensor 41 and a flow rate sensor 61 interlocked with valves 8 branching raw water to the by- passes 5, 7, thereby performing the switching between clean water and the raw water, and alarm display. As a result, when abnormal hydraulic pressure or abnormal flow rate occurs in the water purifier or in the by-pass connected to the purifier, or when a battery or the cartridge for the water cleaner ends its life, the situation is informed to a user by a buzzer and the lighting of an indicating lamp, and the by-pass is automatically closed to return to the raw water supply at the same time, thereby making the handling extremely easy and greatly reducing the load on the water purifier, so that trouble is hardly developed.
