PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin molding material which is useful for optics, can reduce substances (deposits) that evaporate on the molding of optical disk substrates and accumulate on molds or stampers, can improve continuous productivity, and can maintain high reliability over a long period, and to provide an optical disk substrate comprising the molding material. SOLUTION: This polycarbonate resin molding material useful for optics, characterized by containing (A) substances having 5% weight-loss initiating temperatures of <=400 deg.C by a thermogravimetric analysis in a total amount of <=1 wt.% and having a total chlorine content to <=20 ppm, and the optical disk substrate formed from the molding material. |
