PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a transparent photocatalyst film which can impart photocatalytic functions to a substrate merely by sticking it thereto when the pattern or handle of the substrate is required to be fully utilized or when photocatalytic functions are required to be imparted to a transparent body and which can be easily manufactured by a coating method. SOLUTION: This photocatalyst film is transparent and comprises a stretched porous polytetrafluoroethylene film comprising a skeleton and voids within the skeleton and titanium oxide particles carried by the porous polytetrafluoroethylene film. The voids may be filled with a transparency- enhancing substance. Preferably, the titanium oxide particles are carried with a binder.
