PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obstruct the co-rotating of a movable ring and a screw conveyor and the loss of a function to move sludge with a solid-liquid separator which moves the sludge in a cylindrical body by rotating the screw conveyor arranged within the cylindrical body constituted by arranging the movable ring between stationary rings, discharge filtrate through the microgap between the stationary rings and the movable ring at this time and activating the movable ring by the screw conveyor to prevent the clogging between the stationary rings and the movable ring. SOLUTION: The movable ring 30 is integrally provided with a projection 18 and this projection 18 is brought into abutment on a spacer 9 for holding the spacing between the stationary rings 6, by which the co-rotating of the movable ring is obstructed.
