PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery data generating device dividing an image exceeding an embroidery zone according to embroidery zones, converting them into embroidery control data, and continuing them for applying it to a sewing machine automatically embroidering based on the control data. SOLUTION: Image data exceeding the embroidery zone is divided into a prescribed plurality of sequence embroidery zones and a plurality of embroidery control data is generated for every plurality of divided embroidery zones. Connection data including connecting points for continuing the plurality of embroidery zones and a sewing end point finishing the embroidery sewing and stopping the sewing machine are generated and stored in a storage part in such a state as possible of readout with a plurality of embroidery control data.
