PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress expansion of a retaining ring after installed in the axial direction in an installing structure of shaft parts installing the shaft parts to a shaft member by suing the retaining ring. SOLUTION: This installing structure of shaft parts in a single bearing reel is equipped with spool shaft 2, an E type retaining ring 13 and a first washer 14. The spool shaft 2 is a shaft installed in a reel body 1 of the reel and having an annular groove 2d formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof. The E type retaining ring 13 is an annular ring installed on the annular groove 2d so that the outer peripheral part thereof is protruded from the outer peripheral surface of the spool shaft 2 and having a notched part in the circumferential direction. The first washer 14 is a component arranged with the E type retaining ring 13, installed on outer peripheral surface of the spool shaft 2, having a round recessed part 14a connecting and engaging with the outer peripheral part of the E type retaining ring 13 on the side facing to the E type retaining ring 13 and regulated in transfer in the axial direction with the E type retaining ring 13.
