PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidizing agent for oxidative hair dyeing usable in the wide pH range, in particular causing little hair damage at low pH level. SOLUTION: The subject hair dyeing composition is such as to use an inorganic peroxymonosulfate as the oxidizing agent.
