PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject roll capable of certainly loosening, while scraping off boiled rice frozen due to cooling. SOLUTION: This nearly cylindrical roll is such one as to be set up so as to scrape off and loosen boiled rice supplied onto a supplying conveyor, and provided with a projected loosening wall (8) nearly helically twisted on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body (7) of the roll, and notches (13) on the loosening wall (8). The roll is characterized by arranging the notches (13) parallel along the length direction of the cylindrical body (7), and also providing grooves to push boiled rice thereinto on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body (7); alternatively, characterized by setting up plural projected loosening walls (8) nearly helically twisted to a cylindrical body (7) while providing grooves (9) to push boiled rice thereinto along the length direction of the cylindrical body (7) on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body (7). |
