PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for a lithographic printing plate capable of obtaining an excellent printed produce having an image recording layer capable of directly recording by an infrared ray laser and having high sensitivity without generating a stain on a non-image part. SOLUTION: An image recording layer 22 capable of being recorded by an infrared laser is provided on a support in which a heat insulation layer 21 and metal layer 15a mainly containing a surface treated aluminum are sequentially provided on a metal base material 15b.
