PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an image quality and simplify an apparatus thereby improving its producibility when an ink liquid (liquid) of a desired density and/or a color is generated by mixing a plurality of ink liquids of different densities and/or colors and the ink liquid is flown to an image-receiving body to form images. SOLUTION: In the ink-jet recording method, with a plurality of ink discharge openings arranged in a direction orthogonal or nearly orthogonal to a relative move direction of the ink discharge openings and the image-receiving body for discharging the plural kinds of ink while a mixing ratio of the inks is changed on the basis of image signals, images are formed by flying ink drops discharged from the ink discharge openings to the image-receiving body. At least one of the plural kinds of ink is made an image non-form ink which does not substantially form images after being dried. Ink drops of a nearly constant quantity are discharged from the plural kinds of ink discharge openings at least during the formation of images. Ink drop discharge means respectively set to the plurality of ink discharge openings are simultaneously driven in parallel by a common discharge driver. |
