HIGH SILICON STEEL SHEET IMPROVED IN AC MAGNETIC PROPERTY, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high silicon steel sheet improved in AC magnetic properties by a simplified method. SOLUTION: The high silicon steel sheet improved in AC magnetic properties can be manufactured by performing powder rolling using high silicon steel powder of 5-12 wt.% Si content or a powder mixture which consists of Fe powder and Fe-(8 to 65 wt.%) Si powder and in which Si content becomes 5-12 wt.% and then carrying out diffusion annealing to control the surface ruggedness resultant from the powder by means of powder particle size, annealing conditions, rolling conditions, etc.
