PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal machine which does not produce malodor during the operation thereof and can achieve energy saving. SOLUTION: In the disposal treatment machine including a storage vessel 1 to store garbage, a garbage heating means 13 to heat the garbage, a catalyst 22a to reduce the smell of the garbage, a catalyst heating means 22b to heat the catalyst 22a, a catalyst heater control means 30 to control the heat generation rate of the means 22b, and an agitating and crushing means comprising a fixed blade 2 and rotational blade 3, wherein after the lapse of a predetermined time period t1 after the starting of operation, the agitating and crushing means is actuated, during the time period from a time t2 wherein t2<t1 to a time t3 wherein t3>t1, the control means 30 raises the heat generation rate of the heating means 22b, whereby deodorizing capacity is increased only when the generating rate of steam is high, thereby effecting deodorizing and achieving energy saving. |
