PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a seat back and luggage from being damaged by a lock fitting for fixing a child restraint system and to prevent the lock fitting from being deformed in a seat for a vehicle so constituted as to retreat a seat cushion, frontward recline the seat back and fold it. SOLUTION: A pivot shaft 6, on the rotation center of a seat back 5 is arranged near the bottom end of the seat back 5, a lock fitting 7 is so arranged that its tip part faces to a clearance 8 between the seat back 5 and a seat cushion 3, a notch 9 for avoiding the interference with the lock fitting 7 in frontward reclining the seat back 5 is provided in the car width direction in the bottom end of the seat back 5 in a part, at least, presenting the lock fitting 7, and the lock fitting 7 is so constituted as to be lower than the back face 5a of the seat back 5 reclined further frontward.
